Juno task

We filmed our own footage. It was slightly rushed as we had to do it within the hour and we wasted a small amount of time trying to find suitable places to film which we could have done beforehand. However the filming was done quickly and we didn't have to do a second take at any point.

The storyboard we made was accurate however it lacked depth and detail. This led to us mistakenly filming some of the shots at the wrong angle. In the future I would add a lot more writing to my storyboards including details about the type of shot and directions for the actor.

The strength of my group was definitely our editing which we accomplished very quickly and easily. Our weakness was the eye for detail when watching the Juno sequence and creating the storyboards which lead to one of the only flaws in our project.

At the time we thought we had all of the footage that we wanted. When we got in and begun to compare the footage we knew that we had all of the footage we needed although some was inaccurate. However we had completed every part of our storyboard within the allocated hour.

We became very quickly familiar with the camera and could use the majority of the functions almost instantly. As a team we quite comfortable with Premiere however we leant about layering the two clips together so we could directly compare them.

Our footage looks quite similar to the original. However there are a few exceptions. In some parts I faced my head down looking at the floor which wasn't done in the original. Also in a few shots the camera angle is different to the original version.

What went well: The editing, speed of production and camera work.

What I learnt: Features of Premiere and about camera shots and effects

What I will do in the future: To take more time planning shots and producing storyboards.
